The process involves taking plastic in the form of resin (pellets) and heating this material until it melts. The granular plastic resin pellets are fed by gravity from a hopper into a heated barrel), then the melt is forced into a mold. It then cools, the part is ejected, and the desired part or product is created. The cycle is repeated. The entire process usually takes less than one minute to complete for each plastic shot. In today's automated manufacturing environment much of this work can be done with robots. VA is here to serve you with a wide range of services.
